Open Forum: Is timing everything?

Summary

gaming time

Howdy everyone again?

I do not do this often but I timed my daily evening game times.

I used only the best and most accurate tools courtesy of: https://www.online-stopwatch.com/

Image of https://www.online-stopwatch.com/
Here were the results:
  • 5 minutes Smite – daily log in
  • 26 minutes – Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis – Dailies
  • 2 minutes Warframe – daily log in reward
  • 2 minutes Idle Wizard – Log in, do maintenance, gather dust, check for easy trials
  • 9 minutes Super Auto Pets – 1 game – Lost
  • 25 seconds Crush Crush – Daily Event Check In
  • 3 minutes Ring of Pain – Lost Daily Dungeon round 4
  • 17 minutes Ring of Pain – Lost Normal run died round 16

For a total of 89 minutes or 1 hour and 29 minutes

That’s just my steam dailies, I kind of run my PS4 all day between Caravan Stories AFK farming for EXP.

Gen’s Shins? Just how impacted are they?

I recently got back in to Genshin Impact. Today I did time my Genshin daily commissions in 23-ish minutes while on my 30 minute lunch break. I was possessed to get back in to Genshin as I heard there was recently a rhythm game in the recently past Windblume 2023 event that ended on March 20thish.

Unfortunately I completely missed it. I played Genshin back when it launched in 2020. I stopped less then 2 weeks afterwards however. When I jumped back in this year I realized I was still in the Prologue. So Besides having never solved the main story plot point on the first main town I also was not a high enough Rank with the Adventures guild to get the ball rolling on that.

All in all

Its not as bad as I remember to be honest. Its nice bright and colorful but I forgot basic mechanics like enhancing characters, and equipment. Luckily the in game tutorial codex thing is pretty expansive and for everything else the wikis and searches are pretty robust nowadays. It will likely be something to just chip away at when I am burnt out on other things.

Another game that just had a rhythm game in its last event as well was Blue Archive. Which I was able to partake in. It was very small scale though only having two songs to play one with 3 difficulties and 1 extra hard song. It was a fun break from the usual just sweeping of missions to burn energy or watching the Player vs player fights.

Besides that Cult of the Lamb has been teasing new free updates. Which I am pretty hype for.

There is not much else on my mind besides, OH WAIT ATELIER RYZA 3 IS COMING SOON! I have not personally played any of them since Atelier Escha & Logy, and Nelke’s weird but cute town management sim. I have however watched my Sister play the Mysterious Trilogy as well as Ryza’s first 2 installments. So Someone else will get a turn on the PlayStation soon for things other than Netflix and Youtube.

That is all for me, Talk Amongst Yourselves!

I completely lost point of my whole thing about timing, I think it was supposed to go back in to rhythm games but I am tired so yeah.

That's quite a bit of time for daily things. I pretty much only play Marvel Strike Force as my daily game and that can take me maybe 20-30 minutes though? I usually do it right before bed since it resets after midnight.

So I finally started Red Dead Redemption 2. I've played through the prologue and now going to start on Chapter 1. Gameplay reminds me of Red Dead 1 just it looks amazing. I really enjoyed the first game so this is all positive so far. We'll see if it sucks me in though as it hasn't quite done it yet but it's still super early.

Had a fun gaming day with my wife and her brother. Had some beers and played Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and some Halo 1 online. We're planning on doing it again soon and adding in Goldeneye and maybe some of the old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games that I got the collection for.

@peepso_user_35(RealmofDarthon) I don't think its too much time it mainly depends on if I have to cook and clean or leave the house after work, in those cases I typically only do the things that I just log in to for rewards.

One day I will reddily deaddily twodaly but that day is likely not even in this year

Nice I plan to go see a movie with my bros and game afterwards over drinks. looking for to it.
