Uhhh I missed last week because I was busy. This really is more of me just doing a candid airing of thoughts at this point.

A bit of a journaling exercise kind of to get things out of my brain.

I am being overwhelmed with these videogame releases.

Rune Factory 5 arrived last night and I have to say it feels like a down grade in terms of smoothness compared to the recent remaster of Rune Factory 4 called Special on both the Switch and PS4. Also it feels Worse than the last full 3d attempt Rune factory Tides of Destiny on PS3. I was playing it late Febrary along with Rune Factory Frontiers on the Wii U. Where as Frontier is more slower and measured out it was still stable besides the runey management nonsense. I think Tides of Destiny also kind of side stepped the clunk it by completely automating farming to focus more on being a 3rd person action jrpg on the PS3 which was powerful at the time but a headache to develop on.

This may be a bit harsh but with how much flak the original JP release got on both this and Story of Seasons Pioneers of Olive Town (which did receive some wonderful quality of life patches and balancing) I feel like RF5 needed more technical and optimization improvements even after all thee delays.

I am only 4 days in to the game. I still have no hammer yet to start busting rocks and mining. Rune Factory 5’s feel and flow will take some getting used to maybe.

Oh yeah still playing Monark, Lost Ark, Warframe, and Caravan Stories almost daily.

Caravan Stories is actually on it’s 3rd Anniversary right now.

Kind of Dropped Arceus for now after helping my sister catch the last 5 legendary pokemon.

I am hoping to be done with Monark before new Borderlands drops.

Hrmmmm I wonder if I could get Warframe working on deck. It has that really annoying launcher thing and my experience has been games with launchers or pre-game logins outside steam tend to be really annoying on deck.
I can't believe you're still playing that game how long has it been

@peepso_user_20(Aikage) 1759 days now over many years i have logged in Warframe, i was playing before it was on steam though so my hours are not correct 2000+ hours so far in steam. It will hopefully be cross play soon so we can all play together no matter the platform

I heard Rune Factory 5 lost a little bit of the whimsy with the shift to 3D and that Run Factory 4 was better. I have it on my 3DS but have yet to play it. I have been playing Arceus though and I'm now 3 hours in to it. I think I'm finally getting hooked after 3 hours. Took longer than I was expecting due to the nature of grinding for pokedex entries though I think I'm liking it more now that I don't feel the need to grind and I'm still leveling so that's making up for it. I just finished up Call of Duty: Vanguard and Assassin's Creed Revelations last week. Both were fun games with AC:R being a nice end to the Ezio trilogy of games. I tried playing the DLC for it though and it was a mess. First of all they took they worst part of AC:R, which is this weird first person platforming segments, and made the DLC of that. Then in the second memory the walls and floors started to become invisible which made progressing impossible. I ended up using a walkthrough to get through the last little bit of memory 2 hoping that it wouldn't be a problem later but it started up like that right in memory 3 so I dropped it. It's basically unplayable at that point.

@peepso_user_35(RealmofDarthon) that's like my issue maybe they didn't have the team or the optimization down becuase Tides of destiny runs fun just has a janky camera but was also a ps3 game. but yeah im back burnering it, borderlands 4ish drops tonight. and im still trying to beat monark

Arceus takes a bit once you get outta of talking tutorial town. an d it gets nicer with each new mount you can summon.

not much i can say about call of duty i stopped back at black ops 2.

As for AC R i honestly miss that trilogy it was like peak. 3 was okay but after a trilogy tying the first game in as well it felt odd to me still. I dont remember playing any dlc sucks to hear its busted.
