OPEN FORUM: Meme Theory Crafting just roll with it

Hello Everyone, It is that time again. For today is the day of  Wed Nes my compatriots. I saw a silly meme the other day.

It got me to thinking of the many young adult fantasy scifi novels, anime, manga and other mediums I have consumed in my life time that ended up just like this. However my big zoom in was on the Hexo blade.

It got me to thinking if the blade was truly hexagonal, how would that work as a cutting/slashing weapon. Let’s expand upon that and say throughout that theoretical journey the hexoblade is incomplete. It was not always hexagonal, but it started out as a simple oversized flat or slot styled screwdriver. Also make the setting magic steam punk with alien tech. Let’s say the hero’s oversized screwdriver was like a hand me down from his late parents. They that did engineering and repairs on big things. Like large vessels, ships, possibly mobile fortresses, or living cities if you will like in Mortal Engines. Speaking of which I still have not seen I did start the book series years ago but dropped it. Moving on!

Theory craft is the correct term I believe is the correct term. The Hexoblade is an alien magicked tool for doing a bunch of different things. However its use as a weapon will be its weakest application. This means that maybe the hero is the least specialized fighter on the team. Having a well rounded set of abilities. Maybe between the betrayal of chipchip the hero forms a party. I would like to think there would be at least one girl, one guy, and an automaton or living magicked steam powered  monster/alien.

Barely fleshed out Characters

The heroe’s name is Hiro, because pun.

Let’s make the make the guy a thief he may not be able to fix things like the hero can but he does know how to get his hands on parts and scrap and is an expert at dismantling things in a quickie so he may have like those skills along with abilities to do more damage to machine based enemies or assuming we had to at some point disable a fortress he and the hero could tag team it no problem. Let’s call him Jeff. Jeff may not have a formal education, or have had engineer parents in fact badaboom he’s an orphan now too.Jeff knows machines, people, and The streets. Jeff probably uses an assortment of improvised and weaponized tools like a pliers, a crowbar, a hammer, and those clampy things. I forget the name of them along with a knife because thief stereotypes.

Now for the lady of the group. Let’s call her Raybelle, because she is a magic Rebel against all the steam stuff. Let’s say she is the more magicked character of the party but like the physicals application of magic. She is well versed in combat. There is also the possibility that she is an alien of sorts to a world where steam powered things are the norm. She uses magic and she punches people. Because a lot of things are magic averse she can do a lot of damage. She’s not good at projecting or shooting the magic. The world’s kind of messed up and the pollution caused by the rampant steam tech power sources disrupts magic. She’s got magic punch’s she can heal, and magically rearrange something if it is not too polluted.

Of course the party calls her Ray or Belle or RB in the robots case Speaking of the robot.

He’s a sentient alien magitech machine. Alliam is completely self sufficient and does not cause pollution emissions, despite being able to look liek a steam tank or terminal. He has a special ability to eat magic but does not like to. Alliam has many modes is like the tank or gun shoots things. He refers to characters by initials so H, J, RB. Due to a misunderstanding he believes that Raybelle is Ray Belle and believes she is the party leader because last names are for the upper echelons per his coding. He distrusts Jeff due to the initial discovery as jeff tries to break him to scavenge parts.

In combat he would be teh wild card. He does all the big morphing stuff changes forms too. and has an ability to forge or enhance equipment and produce munitions because he was a war machine in the deep lore that we have not written yet. He’s one of the few left and is believed to be link to the aliens that may have left which caused a decline in magick. I am going to call him Alliam because he is an Alien and I am super original but his coded name would read like 411-iam and Jeff can’t read well but he’s the first one to say it after they find and activate him by accident so he keels the name. 

So yeah let’s stop there before I get into world building, I didn’t even stay on topic of the Hexo sword or the Omni Relic or what chipchip may truly be.
