Hey keeping it short because im constantly ill lately.
Polished off the last few demos from steam fest earlier after work. Honestly two I didn’t expect to like were my faves for the night! those were Sea of Survivors and Skybreakers. Bother were survivors-like. Is that the term, or is Bullet heaven preferred? :think emoji:
Both are similar to Vampire Survivors but with different flows and controls.
Sea of Survivors is pirate themed as the name suggests. The catch here in the game play is that since you are on a boat, you are constantly moving. Also by defeating enemies you may receive a botted clue. Leading you to treasure or an island to raid. Also the way equipment and upgrades is a big link grid for buffs and relics to go. you can have 4 weapons and a 30 ish slots.
Skybreakers on the other hand is like Asia inspired demon hunter themed. There were 2 characters to try, dual sword guy who was okay but required more actual input to play as his mechanic was dashing through an opening to go in to a frenzy. The other character was a small lady with a BIG hammer, and an electric golem. She was insane I literally became a smashing blender summoning lightning and an overcharged golem charging in to everyone. Actually cleared the game on my first attempt with her once I understood the weapon upgrades versus the crystal shop upgrades.
All in all it was pretty good time. I am currently also still workign on Inktober. you can see the thread over here on my twitter.
