It’s been a while, hasn’t it? I feel like I’ve started so many OFs and posts with those words. There isn’t much Monday left, and I’ve missed so many. Here goes nothing!
This last year has been an absolute blur; I’ve been so very busy trying to keep my head above water that I have felt alienated from just about everything that was once familiar. I am still me, yet I am forever changed. Why can’t things just stand still for a minute? Will it ever stop being a blur? Can I slow down and smell the flowers?
Anyway. Let’s not have this OF degenerate into an existential crisis, as they often do when I remember to write them.
I finally played a Trails game, and I can see the appeal. Very cool stuff, even though (according to a vague memory of an article I read somewhere) there’s about (rounding up coz I play slow) 700 hours worth of other games I need to play to fully appreciate Trails into Reverie.
