Sup Tay!
This weekend it started to snow for real for the first time in Stockholm. That encouraged me to take a really long walk through a forest path nearby. Walking in the forest while snow is falling is sort of magical. I feel I am in a Disney movie. Walking I sort of realize again that I would like to try to do hiking at some point. I sent a text to my brother asking if he would be interested doing that in the future. And he was. So I am hoping we can plan something together. I enjoy my brothers company even if we don’t hang out much, and I think this is the thing we would have a common interested in. He did mention that I need to exercise for it. Which is true. I want to believe I am pretty fit for it already. But taking a walk for a few hours without any issue might not be the same thing as walking the whole day with a backpack.
I watched a video about hiking in Japan, which has been stuck in my head for a while now. Even if I don’t think I am able to do that now, I think that would be a nice dream vacation at some point. Just to have that one long term goal.
Anyway. Here are some suggested topics for today:
- What do you dream of doing right now?
- Do you enjoy nature? Or just taking walk?
- Which game has the best forest?
- Or talk about anything.

I do love nature, though. I admit I'm a bit spoiled for natural splendor where I live in rural New England, I don't have to go far outside to see some gorgeous mountains or peaceful rivers or secluded ponds/lakes. I've lived in cities for a few years of my life and it taught me that I love my natural scenery and I don't want to give it up.
But speaking of forests in videogames, I started The Last of Us 2 last night and WOAH. I mean, we all knew Naughty Dog could make a nice looking game but I was still just slackjawed for the entire time I played. Absolutely stunningly gorgeous. I think the only games that I've played that could hold a candle to the natural environments in TLOU2 might be RDR2 and maybe Death Stranding.
For real, crunch time in videogame studios is an abomination and I hate it, but like.... HOLY FUCK that game. TLOU2 has been incredible so far, I am really stunned. Playing the first hour or so I was just in awe. The environments and details are incredible, but the ACTING and cinematography as well like... holy shit. Makes other AAA games feel lazy by comparison.
Hope you have a good week dude!
Being able to eat something while walking down the street. I mean I guess just being able to leave my apartment without having to wear a face mask is basically it.
**Do you enjoy nature? Or just taking walk?**
Nature is quite nice. It's always nice when I can escape the city and breathe fresher air. Taking a walk is definitely nice. Been doing a bit more of that in the past 10 months since I refuse to ride the subway at the moment so walking is the easiest / best way of transportation right now.
**Which game has the best forest?**
That's a good question and I'm not sure I have a good answer for it. Call of Duty: Black Ops III? I heard a lot about a frozen forest during the gameplay.
**Or talk about anything.**
One more day of work after today and then I get a 5 day weekend thanks to the Monday holiday. Good reward after working 10 days in a row and a bunch of OT yesterday and today. I'm excited to relax and play some games and do a little more wedding planning.
