As I write this post, my wife plays ToeJam and Earl on the Nintendo Switch, courtesy of the Sega Genesis Classics collection on the Nintendo Switch. I’ve only ever heard of the game–never seen it played–and my only commentary so far is that I am thoroughly confused (in an amusing way) by everything that is happening. My wife appears to be just as confused.
Optional played Toree 3D and was whelmed. It’s a 3D platformer that brings small snippets of Sonic Adventure to mind. There’s a little bit of psychedelia. It’s 30 minutes long. What you see is what you get.
